Last Sunday, a friend and I made our way to HacDC, a hacker space in Columbia Heights, for some electronics fun. Mitch Altman, inventor of the TV-B-Gone was holding a “Brain Machine” workshop. A few hours into it I had my very own blinking-light meditation device. While I’m not sure how often I’ll plug into my brain machine, I was mostly itching to get my hands on a soldering iron again and check out HacDC. I’ll definitely be going back.
